Information for Universities
Introducing Histology Online
…flexible, student-centred learning as a replacement for unsustainable lab classes…
Histology-Online is a web-based student learning resource that allows universities to minimise laboratory classes that use increasingly expensive and delicate people and equipment.
Today, students prefer to learn on-line when the learning experience is fun, interactive and tailored to their personal needs. Histology-Online, when deployed at The University of Western Australia led to a significant increase in student numbers and a strong lift in learning outcomes. Student feedback demonstrated enhanced enjoyment and subject mastery as a result of substituting Histology-Online for three hour histology laboratory classes.
